FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Paint mixing questions

Does Mixora replace physical test swatches?

No. Pigment chemistry, lighting, surface, opacity, and drying shift all affect real paint. Mixora gives you a useful starting recipe; always test and adjust a small swatch.

What does Delta E mean?

Delta E is a numeric estimate of perceptual color difference. Lower values indicate a closer match between the target and the predicted mixture.

Where is my paint library stored?

Your library, saved recipes, and history are stored in your browser on this device. Mixora does not upload them to an account.

Which paint types can I use?

You can catalog acrylic, oil, gouache, watercolor, and model paints. Results work best when you mix compatible paints from the same medium.
