IMPORTANT LIMITS

Use every recipe as a testable starting point

Physical results vary

Paint appearance changes with pigment identity, concentration, binder, opacity, tint strength, particle size, medium, dilution, surface, ground color, film thickness, drying, aging, finish, varnish, illumination, and application method. Test a small dried swatch before using a recipe on important work.

Digital targets are incomplete

HEX and RGB values describe display color, not a unique pigment or reflectance spectrum. Screens, cameras, printers, browser color management, brightness, and ambient light can all change the apparent target. Metallic, pearlescent, fluorescent, phosphorescent, iridescent, transparent, textured, and high-gloss effects cannot be fully represented by a flat screen swatch.

Catalog information

Manufacturer names and product identifiers belong to their respective owners. Mixora is not affiliated with or endorsed by listed paint brands unless explicitly stated. Online manufacturer swatches are treated as reference data and may differ from current physical products. Check the manufacturer's current label, instructions, safety sheet, and technical documentation.

Safety and suitability

Follow the paint manufacturer's instructions for ventilation, protective equipment, spray application, ingestion risk, skin contact, disposal, flammability, and age restrictions. Mixora does not provide chemical-safety, conservation, automotive-refinishing, architectural-coating, medical, or regulatory advice.

Professional color matching

Do not rely on Mixora alone where a color match affects safety, manufacturing tolerances, conservation treatment, contractual standards, vehicle repair, building compliance, or substantial financial loss. Use the relevant physical standard, calibrated instrumentation, qualified professional, and documented process.
